Our Worlds

Two Girls One Idea develops original projects across different genres, formats, audiences, and stages of development. Some are created by Emma, some by Miranda, and some are built together. A project might begin as an animated series, comic, book, film, game, or something harder to categorize — and some worlds may eventually grow across more than one format.

SHARED PROJECTS

Our Worlds

Original projects co-created by Miranda Davis & Emma Davis. These descriptions are intentionally public-facing and spoiler-light.

Animated Series · Supernatural Mystery-Comedy · Teen / YA

World of Worlds

In development · Core canon and Season One development established

Morrowville looks like an ordinary coastal town, but impossible things have a habit of happening there. Five freshmen find themselves becoming accidental investigators while still dealing with school, friendships, family, and normal teenage life.

More public details

What makes it unique: The characters are not traditional chosen heroes, and every strange encounter is not automatically something that needs to be defeated. Observation, understanding, problem-solving, and occasionally just learning to live with the weird are as important as action.

Setting: Morrowville, a colorful coastal American town filled with neighborhoods, a high school, beach and pier areas, restaurants, shops, parks, and recurring local hangouts.

Main characters: Ev, Des, Theo, Lex, Dami

“Something weird is always happening. Unfortunately, somebody has to deal with it.”

Animated Series · Superhero Action-Comedy · Teen / YA

Six Ways to Save the World

In development · Core team, powers concept, superhero identity, and series foundation established

Six sixteen-year-old friends unexpectedly develop extraordinary abilities after a catastrophic amusement-park accident. Keeping their identities secret becomes increasingly difficult as they attempt to balance school, friendship, public attention, and the very messy process of learning how to be superheroes.

More public details

What makes it unique: The series treats superhero life as something the characters have to actively learn rather than instantly master. Their heroics exist alongside ordinary teenage problems, personality clashes, mistakes, viral attention, and a public that develops opinions about them almost immediately.

Setting: A contemporary world where the six teens continue attending school and living normal community lives while secretly operating as the superhero team known publicly as Ascendancy.

Main characters: Devin, June, Miles, Zoey, Simon, Bea

Public tagline coming later.

Animated Series · Fantasy Adventure-Comedy · Kids & Family

On Our Way

Season One development complete

A small delivery crew travels across a huge fantasy world where creatures, magical beings, and unusual inhabitants all need packages delivered. Every route brings new customers, unexpected detours, strange environments, mechanical problems, and adventures the crew definitely did not put on the schedule.

More public details

What makes it unique: Instead of adventurers searching for quests, the delivery job itself creates the adventure. The series combines fantasy exploration with warm crew chemistry, workplace comedy, and the question of what could possibly happen between Point A and Point B.

Setting: A large mixed-species fantasy world with drastically different regions and communities. Public locations include Skydock Tower, Crossway City, Cloudstep Isles, Lumina Bay, Emberglass Desert, Mossbell Valley, and Frostlight Reach.

Main characters: Levi, Nisa, Wes, Owen

“We deliver. We protect. We problem-solve. We never give up. We’re always… ON OUR WAY.”

Animated Ensemble Series · Workplace Fantasy Comedy · Audience TBD

Supernatural Resort

Active development · Extensive world, character, and Season One development established

At a secluded luxury island resort built and operated by humans for supernatural travelers, the staff must somehow provide five-star service to guests whose needs are anything but ordinary. Meanwhile, the resort’s young owner is trying to build the property into the destination his family envisioned.

More public details

What makes it unique: Bellanova approaches supernatural fantasy from the perspective of hospitality workers rather than warriors or magical heroes. The employees are ordinary people trying to solve extraordinary guest problems without suddenly becoming superpowered themselves.

Setting: The Bellanova Resort, a secluded private-island luxury destination designed specifically for supernatural travelers and functioning as both a workplace and home for much of its staff.

Main characters: Lucas Bennett, Rowan, Avery Morgan, Owen Walsh, Emi Fujimoto, Yelena Antonova, Priya Shah

Public tagline coming later.

Animated Preschool Series · Educational Comedy · Ages 3–5

Oopsie!

Early development · Working title

In the colorful world of Oopsie-Daisy, four little creatures discover that mistakes do not have to end the fun. When something goes wrong, they can try again, find another approach, ask for help, or decide that sometimes it is okay to move on.

More public details

What makes it unique: The series treats mistakes as an ordinary and often funny part of learning rather than something children should be embarrassed by. The focus is on flexibility, persistence, creativity, and emotional resilience through simple comedic adventures.

Setting: Oopsie-Daisy, a bright, playful world where imperfection is normal and everyday mishaps naturally turn into adventures.

Main characters: Tibby, Koko, Bumble, Tumble

“Again… or another way?”

Animated Series · YA Fantasy / Supernatural Comedy-Drama · Older YA / Adult Crossover

Tide & Ash

Season One development complete · Current canon consolidated

Tavren is a 21-year-old shark-influenced humanoid balancing college, work, friendships, dating, nightlife, money, and future ambitions in a world where countless species live side by side as an ordinary part of society.

More public details

What makes it unique: Tide & Ash uses an extraordinary fantasy society to tell grounded young-adult stories. Species differences are part of everyday life rather than the entire plot, allowing the series to focus on work, relationships, independence, social life, and the messiness of becoming an adult.

Setting: A diverse multi-species society largely hidden from other worlds. A recurring location is Tide & Ash, the restaurant where Tavren works.

Main character publicly named: Tavren

Public tagline coming later.
